Michael Anderson Obituary
Many hearts were saddened to learn of the passing of Michael James Anderson II on February 22, 2021 at the age of 32. Michael was born and raised in Ithaca and the Finger Lakes Area of New York State. For the past two and a half years he has lived in Chester and Farmville, Virginia where he was employed by the Crowder Construction company.
Michael was born on December 5, 1988, the son of Michael James Anderson and Penny Varner. He is survived by his father, Michael James Anderson, and step father, Jeffrey Varner; daughter Makenna (and her mother Stacey Heglund); step mother, Melissa Baker; sisters: Kristina (Varner) Coleman and Amanda Anderson; step brothers: Payton (Scrawney) Baker and William (Chubby) Baker; step sisters : Ashley Baker (Stephen Briggs) and Samantha Baker-Bradford, (Jerry Bradford Jr.); nephews: Josh and Benjamin and nieces: Madison and LuLu; Step nephew, Damon Baker-Bradford and step niece, Cindera Baker; aunts: Cheryl Wright, Roberta Hart, Christine Kyes and Susie Anderson; step maternal grandfather, Roy Baker; special uncle, Robbie Miller; several cousins and a special friend, Carl Fenton. He was predeceased by his mother; brother, Jeffrey Varner, uncle, John Anderson and paternal grandparents, John Anderson and Luella (Hill) Anderson; step maternal grandmother, Patricia (Miller) Baker.
Those who really knew Michael have lost a very dear and special friend who was taken away from us far too soon. He leaves a void In our lives that will be impossible to fill.

Michael was one of my favorite students when he attended Northeast Elementary School. I am sorry to hear that he is no longer with us. My prayers go out to his family.
