Babcock, Theresa J.

Theresa J. Babcock, 72, passed away on Saturday, August 25 at Beechtree Care Center. Theresa was born in Groton to the late Rudolph Chiszar and Shirley Chiszar Horton and was also predeceased by her brothers, Rudy Hoyt and Donald Chiszar and a sister, Darlene Chiszar; as well as her son, Jeffrey Chiszar. Theresa is survived by her long-time companion Arthur Jackson, a daughter, Rebecca Colkitt and a son Steven Babcock. Brothers Jerry Chiszar, Douglas (Debby) Chiszar, Larry Chiszar and a sister Dorothea (Dale) Waite. Nephews Roland Hoyt, Ken (Ericka) Hoyt, Robert (Iris) Hoyt, Blake Chiszar, Dale (Jolie) Waite and nieces Cindy (Nathan) Chiszar-Johnson, Heather Chiszar, and Shelby Chiszar. Grandchildren; Kevin, Daryl, Jessie, Desiree, and Wayne Chiszar; Robert, Johathan, David and Jennifer Colkitt and many great-grandchildren. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Newfield on Tuesday, September 4 at 1:00 pm.
