I clearly recall Wayne bought a new 1967 Camero in the summer of 1967. I was maroon in color and was the first Camero I ever rode in.

I'll remember Wayne fondly for the rest of my days. He grew up just a couple of houses from me in McGraw. He was a very good athlete and very intense at practice. I recall that he bought a new Camaro as soon as they came out in 1967. He was proud of that. He was almost like a brother to me as his mother and sister both babysat for me and I was at his house a lot as he was at mine.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Wayne's passing. Having grown up just two houses away in McGraw and having had both Marge and Jane as babysitters as a child, I practically was family. I'll remember Wayne fondly. I clearly remember Wayne's athletic abilities and will never forget when he got his first new car, a maroon '67 Camero! I'm so very glad that I got to visit with both Wayne and Jim at Hathaway Hall a few years ago. Marge, Jim and Jane will be in my thoughts and prayers in the coming days.

Very sad to learn of our "Ferris" passing. We shared scripture over the phone together shortly before his passing and I take comfort that he is resting and finding peace in our Lord. Rest well Ferris!

Prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
