Huston Nutt

Huston Nutt, 86, of Kirbyville died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at Rayburn Health Care. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Kirbyville Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A native of Rolla, Arkansas, he had lived in Kirbyville since 1967 and was a retired boilermaker with Chicago Bridge & Iron. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mary Alice; a son, Larry & Alisa Nutt of Kirbyville; 2 daughters, Peggy & Danny Wade of Kirbyville, and Bonda & L.D. Byerly of Jasper; 2 brothers, Vance Nutt and Troy Nutt both of Arkansas; 2 sisters, Pauline Terrell of Pt. Neches, and Evie Gates of Arkansas; and 3 grandchildren, Clint Wade, Shane Nutt, and Sarah Nutt. He was preceded in death by wife, Sarah Nutt (children's mother) and Kathleen Kat Kelly Nutt; and siblings, Dorothy Cunningham, Calvin Nutt, Hubert Nutt, Louada Daniels, Alene Jones Jones and Howard Nutt.
