Frank Moss Obituary
Coach Frank "Buck" J. Moss, age 74, died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
Funeral service will be12 Noon Monday, November 12, 2012 at Boiling Spring Missionary Baptist Church. Burial Boiling Spring Church Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 1 p.m. - 7 p.m., with the family present 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
He was born March 16,1938 in to the late Will Henry and Ethel Allen Moss. He was a member of Boiling Spring Missionary Baptist Church, where he was the pianist. He worked for the Montgomery County School System as a teacher, and a football coach for the historical Burt High School and New Providence Middle School.
He leaves to share his memories his loving wife, Mary Maxwell Moss; step daughter, Brenede (Ernie) Allen; brothers, George (Barbara) Moss, Nashville and Larnelle Moss, Clarksville; sisters-in-law, Sarah Dobbins Fayetteville, TN and Ethel Moss Clarksville, TN; brother-in-law, Ardell Dobbins, Nashville, TN; nieces and nephew, Beverly Moss, Alrita Wilson, Tonya Moss and Jesse "Boo" Moss, Jr., and a host of other family and friends.

I'll have to say mr moss was one of my teachers I remember the most. He went out of his way to help me . He should have tore my tail up with a pattel but instead he'd take me outside and tell me to straiten up. Then tell me to make like he whooped me good. He'd smack the pole with the paddle and I'd limp in with no one knowing any better! RIP mr moss you were the best!

Altough Mr. Moss was not one of my teacher at NP jounior High in the 70's, we spent many mornings before classes playing chess. He was a man of great wisdom and always a friend. My condolences to the family, he will surely be missed.
