Mr. Lambert was born July 29, 1929 in Raven, VA son of Jessie Elander and Annie Bella Jones Lambert. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jean Lambert Adams; two brothers, two sisters, and two grandsons.
He is survived by his sons, James Perry (Shirley) Lambert, Clarksville, James Harry (Crystal) Waldron, Pekin, IL, David (Terry) Frey, Midfield, AL; daughters, Mary L. (Tommy) Hogan, Clarksville, Debbie (Ricky) Murphree, Prattville, AL; brother, Charlie Lambert, Sandusky, OH; sisters, Cora Lee Atkins, Bluefield, WV, Biddie Pruitt, Raven, VA; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

Isaac, (Dad, Pops) lived a long life, and lived it his way. We all loved him dearly, and he will be greatly missed. I have great memories of 3-way conversations with Pops and my mom, Minnie. I will always cherish the pictures we took in 2004 when we met him for the first time. My brother David and I were adopted at ages 1 & 2, but we had the honor of finally meeting our biological father Isaac and our brother (Big James) and sister (Mary) in Clarksville, at the same time, in 2004. Pops served in the Military with honor, and he loved his kids and grandkids. May he forever rest in peace. I love you Dad.
