Marshall Metcalf Obituary
SSG (Ret) Marshall Allen Metcalf, age 69 of Clarksville, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at his home.
Visitation 10-12 noon at McReynolds-Nave & Larson with a graveside service at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Full Military Honors will be rendered.
Marshall was born December 17, 1945 in Salem, IL to the late Lawrence Metcalf and Hazel Irene (Sands) Metcalf. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter, Marsha Anne Klopp.
He retired as SSG from the U.S. Army after 20 years. He was a Vietnam veteran and participated in the Grenada Conflict. After retirement, Marshall worked at Josten's for several years.
He is survived by his children, Emily S. Pomeroy, John David Allen Metcalf and James Leslie Bruce Metcalf; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; mother to his children, Lethia E. Jewell Van Luven; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
