Thomas E. Noerr, age 57, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Thomas was born June 23, 1960, in Philadelphia, PA, to Caroline Covert Fulbrook and the late Thomas Wayne Noerr.
Mr. Noerr was the general manager and chef at The Looking Glass Restaurant. He was a retired Sergeant First Class in the US Army, having served 21 years, including a tour in Desert Storm. Thomas was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, July 24, at 5:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Olaf Marik officiating. Visitation will be Monday, July 24, from 3:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
In addition to his mother, Thomas is survived by his wife, Marsha Bonen Noerr; three brothers, Steve (Dee) Riesemas, Jeff (Michele) Riesemas, and Rodney (Robin) Riesemas; sister, Patty Jackson; and two nephews, Jeff Jackson and Christopher (Erica) Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Esophageal Cancer Awareness Association, at www.ecaware.org/give/donate.
