I am a richer person for having known this man. I learned from him. I laughed with him. Joy came simply being in the same room with this infectously cheerful in a bazaar way personality.

I have lost a coworker, friend and brother. My heart is sad because I did not follow up with him after he left us here at USSOCOM Lessons Learned. He was a great man. I learned from him. He always had something to say that would make you stop and listen. We would call him our Life line for information on any subject matter. Knowing him has made me a better person. I will miss him. May God almighty place a heavenly hedge around his soul and his family.

Besides being a kind, intelligent man, one thing I remember most about Anthony was a story he told me while I interned at The Ledger. On one of his days off he actually paid to watch a movie -- something he normally wouldn't need to do anymore. However after volunteering at the Polk Theatre for so long he all of a sudden found himself standing while watching the movie he paid to see! I hope he's watching all his favorite movies -- whether it be sitting or standing.

My cousin Tony, was a true Renaissance man. He's always been thoughtful, kind, accepting of all, no matter their race, culture, creed or philosophy, he respected you as a human being - God's gift to humanity. I know he's holding court, right about now, with his guitar and a song in his heart. Aunt Alice and Uncle Alfred are welcoming him home and our prayers are for him to rest in the bosom of Jesus until we meet again. Lovingly, his cousin, Waudieur

Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God! Mat 5:8.

Cousin Anthony, I just contacted you on facebook a few weeks ago - never really got to know you, but just looking at your friends comments on FB you were definitely someone very special and meant a lot to so many. It's what you had inside that transcended so much of your heart that made your life fulfilling and also help fulfill others lives - That's a gift God blessed you with!
May God Bless all of your family and friends!

For more than seven years I had the pleasure of working with Anthony. He was full of charming, thoughtful and delightfully offbeat qualities. More than that he was a kind gentleman that was very helpful to me and others.

My best wishes go out to his family and friends along with The Ledger family that he touched for so many years.

From lacing up skates to help celebrate a co-worker's son's birthday at a skating rink to sharing a special bottle of Irish whiskey (only available in Ireland and brought back from his special trip) with former Ledger friends, Anthony's essence was always about sharing -- his thoughts, his humor, his emotion, his intelligence, his love. He demanded perfection in himself and worked hard to be the best at whatever he did -- always wanting to share with others his perspective on these experiences. We're all richer for having known him and we all know it. God bless you dear friend. Thanks for including us along the way.

I believe that all things work together for good to those who love God and who are the called according to His purpose.

Though I never met my cousin Anthony, I corresponded with him on facebook. He was engaged in our effort to try to bring our family closer together (our grandfathers were brothers). Our relationship was short, but for me it was heartfelt. I long to meet as many of our clan as possible. Anthony, I will see you in heaven.

I met Anthony while working on my book. I needed an editor and he was referred to me. I had no idea what I was doing in those early stages. I felt like giving up so many days, but Anthony wouldn't let me. He always had a kind word or funny story to cheer me up. I will miss his company and conversation; he was so bright and warm. Rest in peace Anthony.

Lots of love,
Doris

I worked with Anthony for nearly nine years, and it still wasn't enough time to fully take in all the delightful intricacies he brought into the lives of those he touched. He shaped our hearts and taught us there was more than what meets the eye. My love to his family and friends. He and his friendship are irreplaceable.

Oh no! Anthony and I were just talking last week about lots of nothing stuff - Kindle, music, television. He was also contemplating what his next move was going to be. Anthony was a true gentleman and intellect. I loved his gentle spirit. I will miss him.
