I just learned of Barbara´s passing and it makes me so sad that she and I lost track in the past few years. I met Barbara when I worked at the Community Foundation of Greater Lakeland and she was a member of their board of directors.

Barara and I became friends after her and Bobby started seeing each other. Bobby brought her to my brothers funeral. That's where we met for the f or at time. We always enjoyed each other's company. When we would see each other again at family reunion or a family member funeral. Except the last two funeral we attended. That was Aunt Olivia (Bobby mom) and at Toni ( Bobby sister funeral). Of course I ask Bobby where is Barbara. She was there but didn't attend the graveside services. So Barbara I was able to attend your funeral. But I was there in spirit. May you rest in peace. Don't worry about Bobby I will look out for him. He more like a brother then a cuz. Love you Barbara. From Barbara Newberry Carter.
