BLACK, 56

BALTIMORE, MD. - Chad Dexter Black, 56 died 1/13/21 in Baltimore, Maryland.
He was born in Lake Wales, the son of Tillie Travis and the late William Thelton 'Buddy' Black of Lake Wales. He was also a 1982 graduate of Lake Wales High School. He was a retired Law Enforcement Officer and Private Investigator.
Memorial service: was held Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Lake Wales Mausoleum, Lake Wales Cemetery, U.S. Hwy 27 South, Lake Wales, 33853. Epps Memorial Funeral Home, Lake Wales.

I was a nurse that cared for Mr. Black during his final months. Nurses have patients that we think of often for different reasons, and Mr. Black was, and always will be, one of mine. Such a kind soul, and an honor to care for him.
