We were surprised to know that Mac passed away. We have been trying to call him to see how he was doing. He was a great person to know and have as a friend. He was always there to help Lynn's mother, Mildred Woolridge when it was needed needed. He would always call us to see how much snow we have on the ground. Mac will never die as he will always be in our hearts forever.

My grandfather, Charles J McDonald, was a selfless man who gave so much to others and always put everyone before himself. There are so many amazing memories I could share but simply being at my grandparents' house as a kid is one of my happiest memories ever. He was so proud of every child, grandchild and great-grandchild; making every single one of us feel like we were the only one. He played such a pivotal role in my life and am so lucky to call him granddaddy.

Uncle Charles was a kind and generous person. He was always asking how he could help if he thought there was a need. He loved to bring joy to others and one way he expressed this was by baking many pies to deliver to others just to make them happy. Mom was a recipient many times! He was very social and loved being with others. I know aunt Ann is celebrating now.
My prayers are with Blake, Dennis & their families.

Charles was a true friend and a great man. The world is a better place because he was here. So long, for awhile, Charles.
