Henry Herrington Obituary

LAKELAND -- Mr. Henry Herrington of Lakeland died of heart failure Monday (June 28, 2004) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 76.Born in New Richland on Aug. 10, 1927, he came to Lakeland from Auburndale 60 years ago. He worked for International Paper Co. for 28 years. He was a Navy veteran. He was a member of Eastside Church of the Nazarene and he ministered at Lake Morton Retirement Home.Mr. Herrington is survived by his wife, Gertrude Herrington; sons, David Herrington, Stephen Herrington, both of Lakeland; daughter, Beverly Woodbury, Lakeland; sister, Evelyn Renfroe, Lakeland; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Eastside Church of the Nazarene. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Gentry-Morrison Southside Funeral Home.
