WINTER HAVEN - Matthew Joey Pittman, age 19, passed away on May 21, 2016.
Matthew was born June 10, 1996, in Paw Paw, Michigan.
Matthew is survived by a daughter Alivia Ann Pittman, his parents Joey and Rita Pittman, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.
A visitation will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Steele's Family Funeral Services. A graveside service will follow at Church of Christ Cemetery, Eagle Lake.

David and I have been thur this we know the path you both and family are feeling. We so thank you from the bottom of are heart how you love in took care of my beautiful brother before he went on the other side he loved you all so much all of you. Just want to give you hope right know . I didn't go to my brother Danny funeral because I was. With him that whole week ,but when Danny left to go on the other side. I was feeling a little bad because I didn't go. But when I went to bed I had a dream my brother came to me loved me but his arms around me in held me in I told him I love you . That was more of I blessing to me than seeing him at the funel real. Why because he was a live his spirit you cannot kill the spirit your child I know it is hard because you want that flesh to hold on to in see but I held my brother in the spirit My your beautiful son come to you and he will Rita because love cannot separate the love of god in Jesus Christ made the way your whole family in my heart and David. Matthew was a great person, I known matt since 4 grade, he was a funny laid back person. He knew how to put a smile on someone face when they were down. Even tho I lost touch with Matt I always asked John McClain on how he was I never left him out of my memories, he was always my best friend in my heart. My love and prayers goes out to the entire family. Matt will always be in my heart, he will never be forgotten. I will see you again.

My sincerest condolences to Rita and Joey and the family!! Matthew and my children played together as kids and he will be missed. I have so many memories of Matthew and I pray that family and friends find comfort in those memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!!

I don't know Matthew. I have only saw a photo of a beautiful young man gone much too soon. His cousin Tiffany is a lifelong friend.
My heart breaks for you Rita. I share your grief as my beautiful daughter left me only 3 months ago. Tiffany has my information. If you need to talk to someone who knows and shares your pain do not hesitate to reach out. You are all in my thoughts as this is an unbearable, never ending pain. I am so sorry!
