TERRY PARRESOL Obituary
PARRESOL, 75
LAKELAND - Terry Parresol died May 1, 2021 at the age of 75.
He was a graduate of the University of Maryland and began his first career in the Arts as a professional modern dancer and instructor. At the age of 39, he retired from dance and moved to Florida, beginning a second career as a jeweler/ watchmaker, owning his own business for 34 years.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents Thomas Parresol and Rita Welte Parresol, and his brother Bernard Parresol, and is survived by his loving wife Bridget Johnson Parresol, his daughters Jena Kovash (Michael) and Tracy Oswald (Kurt). He is also survived by his sister Lana Ambler (John), brothers David Parresol, Mark Parresol (Debra), and Kevin Parresol, along with many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the celebration of Terry's life at St. John Neumann Church on Friday, May 14, 2021 with visitation at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Terry will be buried at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland, FL, at a later date.
In remembrance of Terry, donations may be made in his name to the African Benedictine Sisters of St. Agnes, 6012 Cason Way, Lakeland, FL, 33812 or to the Polk Museum of Art, 800 E. Palmetto St., Lakeland, FL. 33801.
