KNIGHT, JR. 85
LAKE WALES - William H. Knight, Jr. of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Lake Wales Medical Center.
He was born September 21, 1930, in Abington, Pennsylvania to the late William H. and Marian (Hedrick) Knight. He has been a resident of the area for 11 years coming from Chalfont, Pennsylvania.
He was a Carpenter for the Carpenters Union of Philadelphia Local 8. He was a Veteran in the United States Navy. He was a Union Member and ran the children's pirate ship at Fantasy Island in Beach Haven, New Jersey he was known as 'Captain Bill'.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Florence Knight; daughter, Deborah Lombardo (Daniel) of Doylestown, Pennsylvania; sons, William H. Knight, III of Warminster, Pennsylvania and James Robert Knight of Kintnersville, Pennsylvania; sister, Mary Bunn of Pipersville, Pennsylvania; nephew, Steven Bunn; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Bullington officiating.
