Margaret Annenberg Obituary

Margaret (Joan) Annenberg, age 78, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan, KS. She was born on May 17, 1946, to parents Elmer Earl and Margaret Willis (Trower) Willyard, Manhattan, KS.

Joan married Frank John Anneberg on August 6, 1966. They were married for 49 years before his passing in 2015.

Joan loved all kids and was a daycare provider for most of her life.

She is survived by a daughter, Joy Campbell, Manhattan, KS; a son, Frank Anneberg, Manhattan, KS; a sister, Jan Shaneyfelt, Edman, OK; grandchildren, Stephanie Cambell, Isaac Campbell, Thomas Anneberg, Cole Anneberg, and Dylan Ross.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; a brother, Harry Willyard; and a sister, Jayne Metcalf

A memorial service will be held for Joan at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Patrick presiding.

Burial will follow after the service at the St. George Cemetery, St. George, KS.

Memorials in memory of Joan can be given to Northview Elementary School in care of Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502
