WESLACO - Anibal Villarreal, 86, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Valley Grande Manor in Weslaco.
He was born on April 28, 1925 in Hebbronville, TX, son of Fortunato & Adela Villarreal. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Puebla Cardenas Villarreal.
He is survived by his sons: Miguel Villarreal of Washington, DC, Fidel Villarreal of Weslaco, TX & Samuel Villarreal of Houston, TX; his daughter: Gloria (Villarreal) Givilancz of Weslaco, TX; his brother: Alberto Villarreal; his sisters: Dominga Guerra, Viola Harris & Otila Lluond; 5 Grandchildren: Mike Givilancz, III of Weslaco, TX, Giovanna N. Givilancz of Weslaco, TX, Brittany R. (Givilancz) Curry of Boise, ID, Michelle L. Villarreal of Waco, TX & Cielo V. Zedley of Seattle, WA and 2 Great-Grandchildren: Gavin Mike Givilancz & Gianna Isabella Givilancz both of Weslaco, TX.
Visitation will be held today, Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Hawkins Funeral Home in Weslaco, TX from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be Friday, November 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park.
