Beautiful voice and a calling from God on Brother Lee Castro. Blessed to have known him. He helped change my life by sharing Christ. So thankful he came to our church in Hoover, Alabama back in the 70's. I will never forget him. Wish I could still hear him sing and talk, and preach today.

I met Brother Castro when ai was a 13 or 14 years old. He came to First Baptist Church, Hoover, Alabama and preached our revival. Many of us were saved after hearing him tell us about Jesus. I have thought of him many times over the years. I am almost 64 years old now. My heartfelt sympathy to you, his family. May God bless you and keep you in his loving care. Until we all see Jesus and live with Him forever, we will continue to share our creators story of Jesus. Prayers and hugs, Teresa Neuman 4957 Santos Dr. W. Mobile, AL 36619.

Just found that Bro Castro passed. I got saved in 1976 in mobile Alabama. At Fulton road Baptist Church. Ona Wednesday. Bro lee preached that week then on Friday of that week my father and mother got saved. Even though he was not himself saved at that time he preached Gods word and through that my family got saved. He later came to a church in Pascagoula Mississippi where I had become minister of music and I invited him to come preach a revival. His son stare on my house for the revival. Loved his preaching and singing. So sorry he is not still preaching. I just thank God for what he did in my life.

We live in Germantown TN now and served on Lee's Board in the 70's. when we were Members of Hickory Hills Baptist Church in Whitehaven, TN. Others I knew on his board were Ruth & Travis Kendal and Peggy and Ike Ikerd. Many good memories of Lee and Kitty and their two children.

Brother Lee and his family were at our Church in Deming, New Mexico on several occasions. Brother Lee always left the Church better than when he came, the greatest thing is the touch of Gods hand. I am so glad that I bought. Some cassette tapes of his songs, as well as some 8-tracks. He preached the gospel, and lived the gospel as well. Wwell see You later, brother..
