FERNANDO U. GARZA "EL BANDIDO" MISSION - Fernando U. Garza, AKA "El Bandido", 48, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission. Mr. Garza was born on March 22, 1964 in McAllen, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Gilberto Garza and his brother, Jose Luis Garza. Fernando is survived by his mother, Eva U. Garza; his wife, Josefa C. Garza; his sons, Gilberto (Priscilla) Garza, Fernando Alberto Garza; one granddaughter, Alessandra Garza; and his sisters, Leticia (Jose Luis) Garza, Alicia (Andres) Garza Gonzalez, Norma Irene Garza, Anna Maria (Jose) Garza, and Irma Linda (Sergio) Garza. Visitation will be today, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited both days at 7:00 p.m. at Flores Funeral Home in Mission, Texas. Funeral mass will be officiated Friday, February 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John of the Fields Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Abram. Pallbearers will be Sergio Cardenas, Andres Gonzalez, Jose Cantu, Gilberto Garza, Fernando Alberto Garza, Osvaldo Cervantes, Jose Luis Castro, Martin Garza, and Homer Garza.
