What can I say that so many are already saying about Joey? I've known Joey for many yearshe lived a few houses from me while we were in school. Still remember his smile and him driving by the house in his corvette and my father always making a comment on how sharp his car look...ay que Joey. I saw in Joey a great leader, positive banker, loving son/brother, devoted father, positive mentor and priceless friend. I'm still in disbelief of this loss and my heart goes out to his parents, brother and children. His twins were bless to have such a great father, a father that would move mountains for them, a father that instill loyalty, encouragement, workmanship, honesty, good character and faith. Most importantly, I am honor to call him my friend and co-worker. You will be miss dearly Joey. Thank you for the advice and laughs we shared at work and always giving me that encouragementyou were a good person. My prayers will be with you, your parents and your children...May God give us strength to cope with losing you so early but you left us so many memories. As you enter the gates of Heaven, I know you will still keep watch over your family and that will be great comfort for them. Bye Joeythank you for being you.

Joey was my student in the 8th grade and what I remember most about him was his contagious smile and his sweet demeanor. He made all his teachers feel that they were his favorite teacher. He had such a beautiful spirit and an amazing mind for knowledge. I knew instinctively he was going to make a difference in this world. And even though God decided to take this wonderful young man so soon, he goes leaving a legacy of love and joy to all those whose path he crossed. I am blessed and so fortunate to have known this amazing young man whose heart was filled with so much love for those around him. How we will miss him. So rest, my sweet boy, and pray for us left behind.
