Today is the 7th year anniversary of you having left us. When I see our pictures, all the pain and sadness comes back and overwhelms me. I can't believe all these years have passed already. I still miss you so very much. My life has had to go on without you. After 3 years, I realized that LIFE is truly precious. We need to live it. We don't know what is in our future. Tomorrow isn't promised. I know that you are in Heaven. One day we will see each other again. Until then, I will keep the memories of you alive. I will love you until I take my last breath. My Beloved Husband, tomorrow will be one year ago that you left to live with our Heavenly Father. You took a big part of my heart with you. I can't believe that I made it through this year without you. You were my everything. How I wish that I could see you and hold you in my arms again. I will always love you and think of you. I hope that one day I can remember our life together without feeling this heartache. You were my tall, dark and handsome husband...my Papi Chulo. I will always love you. Compadre Juan, it's hard to believe it's been 8 months since we last saw your smiling face. I smile when I think of the fact that you had 3 breakfasts that morning because you never said no to anyone. The holidays were hard, but together we got through them. It gives me comfort to see "Big Red" parked in your garage. Please continue to watch over us as we pray for your eternal rest. We love you and will always miss you.

Hi dad, on the 27th of May I went to your burial site and spent time with you alone... It was the hardest thing I have done since your passing..
