Juanita Munoz Obituary

Weslaco - Juanita Munoz, 67 years old, departed this life on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the South Texas Hospital in McAllen, TX. Juanita was a charismatic, loving, and a very supportive mother and wife. She dedicated her life to family and loved ones.

She is preceded in heaven by her parents Felicitas Alvarado and Nicolas Barron and her sister Maria E. Maldonado.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years of marriage, Estanislado Munoz Jr.; five daughters, Gregoria Mediavilla and her husband Jose Luis Mediavilla, Nancy Sanchez and her husband Fernando Sanchez, Sanjuanita Munoz, Esmeralda Munoz, Naptaly Munoz and her husband Gerardo Luna; two sons, Estanislado Munoz, and Edgar Munoz. Three brothers, Ruben Barron, Jesus E. Barron, and Nicolas Barron. Six grandchildren, Christopher Marroquin, Natalia Sanchez, Yurem Marroquin, Fernanda Sanchez, Nathalie Luna, and Kamila Sanchez, many beloved nieces, nephews, and family members.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Rosary at 3:00pm at the Hawkins Funeral Home in Donna, TX. Burial in Valverde Memorial Gardens in Donna, TX on Friday, February 19 at 9:00 AM preceded by a special blessing on site by Reverend Eka Yuantoro.
