I am out of town so will not be there in person to share in the celebration of his life, but he will be with me today. He is gone from the particular, the singular world we live in, as Mary Oliver writes in one of her poems, but he is among each one of us, he is everywhere now, in peace. My condolences to his family and those who loved him and knew him well. In celebration of his life in this world, I share this excerpt of one of Mary Oliver's poem .......
No, there's no escaping, nor would I want to escape
this outgo, this foot-loosening, this solution
to gravity and a single shape.

I'm still in shock and greatly saddened. I couldn't believe it when I received the phone cal from his staff this morning. He was my doctor and I will miss him. He was so good at going over my blood tests and explaining every detail with me. My sincere condolences to his family and all his kind and caring office staff. May he RIP.

Such a privilege to had the pleasure and honor of not only working with him but having him care of my mother and myself over 2 decades... He was a wonderful physician. He and his staff were always caring and thoughtful with all the patients. So he will be greatly missed by all of the community. May he be in our Lords arms. May God grant his family and friends the peace and comfort to go through this difficult time.

Primo está vida que viviste fue maravillosa. Nunca te olvidare! Le doy gracias a Dios que fuimos familia y siempre lo seremos. No puedo estar pero nunca me olvidare de ti . Gracias por tu contribución a esta humanidad, por ser tan noble y siempre demostrar empatía con tus pacientes. Me acuerdo un verano cuando venías de la playa con Loidi y tenías un erizo el pie y abuelita con un remedio casero te saco todos los erizos y te curo ! Me acuerdo cuando jugabas volleyball cuando estabas en la superior y se reunían tus amistades en la cancha - también me acuerdo cuando me tiraste una piedra y me dio en la boca que me rompiste un diente. Primo gracias por ser parte de mi vida ! Algún día conoceré a tu hijo y le contaré anécdotas de tu juventud. Descansa en paz . Te quiero mucho y nunca te olvido!!!!

Dr. Ramos was an outstanding physician. He was always looking out for my dad and his staff was absolutely wonderful as well. We still cannot believe he's gone. Our most sincere respect.
