Behold now, there is in this city a man of GOD, an honourable man. 1 Samuel 9:6
Dr. Guerra was one of the best physicians who treated countless patients in the South Texas area, including myself.
Dr. Guerra was truly a role model to emulate. A man of true integrity, distinction, & respect. The region's young people should follow his example, and the adults reflect what a kind, generous man
walked among us. I thank the Almighty for Dr. Guerra, who was a physician in word & deed. GOD bless him always...

My condolences to the Guerra family and extended family. I have many fond memories of Lauro and the friendship he had with my father. As cousins they grew up together in Mission just down the street from each other. My father told me they served in the Navy at the same time and when my father's ship would come into Pearl Harbor Lauro and he would visit together and they would find each other in the sea of humanity by using a special whistle they used as kids.
He always cared about my health growing up as an athlete in Mission. He stiched me up, gave me shots and watched over me. I will always remember him as a great man I looked up to.
