Nicolas Cano Obituary
"1-4-3", "1-4-3-2"
PHARR - Nicolas "Nick" Guadalupe Cano, age 18, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2007, at McAllen Medical Center, due to severe trauma resulting from a motorcycle accident.
He was planning to move and attend the University of Texas in Austin to pursue his music career.
Nick is survived by his mother, Yolanda Palacios; his father, Guadalupe Cano; brother, Adrian Cano; and a sister, Lynette Cano; paternal grandmother, Elvira Cano; and maternal grandparents, Cristina and Francisco Palacios; uncles, Tony and Frank. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins from the Palacios and Cano families.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. today, Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Pharr. He will be laid to eternal rest at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Pallbearers will be his family members, Johnny, Tony, Frank and Adrian and the members of his band, Ricky (Drummer), Shawn (Guitar), Baldo (Bass) and Roy (Manager) and Nick played lead guitar for his band.
He was dearly loved by all his family and friends.
Funeral services are entrusted to the care of Skinner-Silva Funeral Home of Pharr.

I thought about you today. You just popped into my head. I remembered in 5th grade you bought me a white teddy bear with a red camera for Valentine's day. I remember I took a picture of you with that same camera. I lost any pictures I've ever had years later, but when I looked up your name just now I was glad to come across this album and I just wanted to say you're never forgotten. I remember your mom worked at Buell and I remember I could tell she loved you so much. Miss you friend.

Thank you GOD for delivering my prayer. Thank you Nick for giving me the most wonderful, remarkable 18 years of my life. I love you and I miss you very much. I know that I one day will see you again, but I feel that it's not soon enough; please forgive me. You were the only one that knew and understood me and my ways. I feel lost without you. So one night recently, I had this dream, everything around me was well as usual: hectic. But as I was leaving this place, a strange building, I looked to my left, and there you were sitting down at a table and you smiled. I was so happy and my heart jumped not just in the dream, but inside as well. There was no second questioning if it was you, I quickly walked over and without giving you a chance to stand, hugged and you hugged me back. But thats when it ended I awoke.
Its been two years to the day, can't believe how much time has past, so fast yet slow. I knew from the day we met you were something special. Miss your smile, laughter, watching you play, you had such a passion and talent, there's no doubt about that!. 0h and of course your hugs but who wouldn't!.
There are times when I stop and think or just hearing a Pearl Jam song or 'Simple Man', and you come to mind, and how much of a great person and friend you were, and a smile comes over my face. We miss you and love you, you and your family are in our hearts and prayers forever hope to see you again one day.

Don't know where to start but,oh well here i go! I remember the night we tricked his friends to eat live worms, the night i jumped off the roof onto a tree because he dared me to, the night i got arrested at a fast food restaurant and tony and him kept on eating and laughing. I tried to make up for lost time every chance i got and it hurts because he left so soon. But things happen for a reason and i will not question that! what I'm trying to say is that i well, we miss his smile,his one word response and his strong demeanor so very much!!!!!!!!!! Till we meet again little bro,143!!!!!!! words cannot describe how much i miss you. I miss the sound of your motorcycle coming down the road. You always wanted me to ride with you but i never did. If i could go back, id ride with you everyday. We all miss you. Me and Anna still miss you. All the the boys miss you. Its hard going to get together's and seeing all of our mutual friends. Its also very hard to come accept the fact that one day ill grow up & i wont be able to see how life treated you. Not a day goes by that we dont think of you but we all know your watching us. Keep watching over your mother, shed do the same for you.

nick.... first of all
nick was (is) the most greatest guy in the world and i am happy to say he is my friend. he helped me alot. he saved me from making to biggest mistake of my life: wanting to kill myself!!!! we where talking and he helped me to stop what i was doing

I am goin to miss nick forever. I remember those days when it was spring break last year, nick and frankie and earie would come to my house everyday. Their was this time when they all came to my house and ate all my cookies. That was Funny!! I've known nick since i was in the 7th grade. My boyfriend was his best friend and thats how i met nick. He was the sweetes guy i had ever met. As the years went by i got to know nick some more, and let me tell you, he was nothing but a loving, fun, outgoing, crazy, guy i had ever met.
