Raul Luna Obituary
Ozzy was a 2022 graduate of Weslaco High School where he wore the number 43 while playing as a Defensive lineman on the Varsity Football Team. He was employed by the Hidalgo County Sheriffs Office as a Detention Officer. Ozzy had a great sense of fashion, and always could be found with his shiny shoes, and his hair was always perfect! One of his many abilities was bringing a smile to peoples faces without even trying.
Ozzy was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Miqueas and Elvia Luna; maternal grandfather Aurelio Perez; uncles Robert Perez, Rolando Luna; as well as by his aunt Dora Luna.
He is survived by his parents Raul and Connie Luna; siblings Raul (Abigail) Luna, Jazmine Luna, Raul Christopher Luna; maternal grandmother Maria del Carmen Perez, aunts and uncles Rigoberto (Imelda) Luna, Rosa Luna, Imelda Luna, Jose (Jeanette) Luna, Leticia Luna, Aurelio (Alicia) Perez Jr, Guadalupe (Enrique) Ybarra, Janie (Ramon) Mungia, Juan Omar Perez, Noe Perez, Mirna Perez; and nephews Darren, Drayden, Davien Luna. Ozzy leaves behind his 2 dogs that loved, Darla and Kilo. He is also survived by a large extended family.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 3-9pm with a 7pm prayer service at Salinas Funeral Home, 2929 West Expressway 83, Weslaco, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 10:00am at The Door Christian Fellowship Church of Weslaco, 2625 East 18th Street, Weslaco, Texas. Burial will follow at Valle de la Paz Cemetery in Hargill, Texas.
Ozzy once mentioned that he hopes people wear their best sneakers to his funeral, the family requests that you wear your best sneakers.
Service are under the direction of Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission.

I´m sending my condolences to the family , my heart goes out to Raul& Connie, I know what your going through, I went through it 51/2 yrs ago when my son went to be with the Lord, but I let The Lord In control, & talk to people from church that has gone through the same, Raul & Connie any time you need to talk & pray I´ll be open to you, just call me any time , I´m from the McAllen church , if there is anything you all need let me know , my number is +19568674977, my heart goes out ,to you both and your family, God bless you both & your family, and have a blessed day
