REYNALDO ZAPATA Obituary

REYNALDO ZAPATA Reynaldo Zapata passed away August 28, 2013 in Los Angeles, California. He was born January 8, 1928 in Los Ebanos, Texas to the late Federico and Maria F. Zapata. Reynaldo attended high school in La Joya and graduated in 1947. He was then drafted and served during the Korean War. After his military service he attended the University of Houston and graduated in communications. His love for films led him to Los Angeles where he worked most of his life. Reynaldo was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ruben Zapata. He is also survived by his brothers Ricardo (Diana) of Washington and Ramiro (Merced) of McAllen, and one aunt, Elida Flores from Sullivan City and numerous nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. Sorry to learn you passed away cousin. I am glad I visited you in Hollywood and spent the day with you in 2001. We walked the streets and Hollywood and talked about our lives. We met Superman stand in on the walk of fame. I still remember how you visited my brother and me and would entertain us with your jokes. You kept us laughing always.
