I dreamed of you the other night. We were just catching up while walking on the sands of South Padre Island and I told you that Donald Trump was running for president. You laughed and we just stood there watching the Sunset. It was great.
I think of your family often. I wish them peace and strength.You were loved and life is just not the same without you.

I still feel your hands as I rubbed them so you could relax. RJ I'm having a difficult time with the emptiness of our home. The silence is overwhelming but in the midst of it all, I can almost hear your footsteps coming down the stairs. I look to see if I can get a glimpse of your smile but to no avail. Son my son I'll see you in your new home where there is no more pain or suffering. I love you mijo. One day we'll walk together while we contemplate God's heavenly love.

The months have gone by so fast but the struggle with absence of my son is so painful and the sorrow invades me more each day. He's not in pain but has left me sighing and crying in my sleep.
