Timothy Pritchard Obituary

McAllen - Timothy C. Pritchard, 72, passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2024. Tim was born in 1951 to Dewey and Marie Pritchard. He attended PSJA High School in Pharr, Texas, and graduated in 1969. During high school, Tim met his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Marsha Watts, whom he went on to marry and share the rest of his life. Tim began an extensive career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1971. After 35 years of service, he made the choice to retire as a Cable Repair Manager. After trying retirement on for size, he decided to jump back into working again, and rejoined the workforce as a consultant with AT&T and other agencies. While working as a consultant, he was presented with an opportunity to join Cobb Findley and Associates. He spent several years with Cobb Findley, and this is where he was still employed until his passing. Tim enjoyed working and he had an indescribable work ethic, which was apparent to all whom worked with him. When he wasn't working, Tim loved to hunt and fish with his grandkids as often as he could.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Marie Pritchard; two older brothers, Dane Allen Pritchard and Michael Pritchard; and a grandson, Ethan Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marsha Pritchard; his daughter Robyn Rodriguez (Rick), his son Casey Pritchard (Brenda), granddaughters Kaydence, Katelyn, and Kinsley Pritchard; grandsons, Damon and Aidan Rodriguez; and brother, Bruce Pritchard.

More than anything else, Tim was a husband, a father, and a papaw and he loved his family fiercely. Tim's legacy can be seen in the family that he and Marsha created together; in his kids and grandkids who will remember all the stories he told them and the lessons he taught them. He will be missed so much more than he could have ever dreamed, but those who were fortunate enough to know and love him are all so much better for having done so.

Visitation will be February 13th 2024 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kreidler Funeral Home. The graveside will be February 14th 2024 1:00 PM at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
