Herschel Reiss Obituary

Reiss, Herschel G., Jr.; age 86; passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014. A lifelong Farwell resident and owner of Reiss Real Estate until his retirement. He is survived by his son, Alan H. Reiss of Farwell; his sister, Nancy Howe and husband, Rev. Dr. Leroy of Dallas TX; and his daughter-in-law, Karen (Reiss) Rohdy and husband, Don of Barryton. A Service is planned for Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Campbell-Stocking Family Funeral Home in Farwell. Pastor Connie Bongard and the Rev. Dr. Leroy Howe will officiate. Friends may visit on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 2 to 8 p.m. Herschel will be Laid to Rest in the Surrey Township Cemetery. The Reiss family requests donations to the Kid’s Christmas Project, in care of the Campbell-Stocking Funeral Home. Herschel achievements were over the top. Remembering him to be soft spoken and always a gentleman. How blessed am I and Corky to have him our lives! He now joins the love of his life,Ruthie.
