Mary Lou Patrick

Mary Lou Patrick; age 78 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 at the Woodland Hospice House with family by her side. Mary Lou was born June 30, 1945 the daughter of Edmund and Lillian (Flaugher) Wonsey. She enjoyed gardening, her girl talk, and being around her family. She enjoyed bingo and watching her Cubs and Braves baseball along with her soaps. She was also a collector of many things. Mary Lou was also a member of the Winn United Methodist Church. Most of her joy came from her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved going to any sporting event they were playing in and kept any and all articles about them. Mary Lou is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jim; 3 children Lori (Kyle) Reichert, Kris (Dave) Hermes, and James (Carla) Patrick all of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren Kylee (Brandon) Schultz, Sidney (Josh) Ember, Kaleb (Robin) Hermes, Kendall Hermes, Kathleen Hermes, MacKenzie Hermes, Shannon (Andy) Machuta, Katie (Brandon) Cooper, and Jacob Patrick; great grandchildren Lincoln and Duke Schultz, Aurora, Reagan, Marissa, and Aria Ember, Ezra, Rosemary, Vivienne, and Margaret Hermes, and Easton Patrick; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Lou is preceded by both her parents and siblings Iva Blodgett, Betty Wonsey, Bob Wonsey, and Eddie Wonsey. Services for Mary Lou will be Saturday, November 4 at 11 a.m. at Berry Funeral Home with Gary Green officiating. There will be visitation from 10 A.M. until time of service. There will also be a visitation Friday, November 3 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Interment will be at Lincoln Township Cemetery. The family would like to give a warm heartfelt thank you to Woodland Hospice and Medilodge of Mt. Pleasant. Memorials can be made on behalf of Mary Lou to the Woodland Hospice House.
