C. Warren Obituary

C. Floyd Warren, 98, of Hodgenville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.

He was the oldest member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and an U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He retired from civil service at Fort Knox and was a retired farmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Shoffner Warren; his parents, Richard A. and Lucy Thompson Warren; three sisters, Elva Allen, Nellie Bennett and Dora Warren and two brothers, Glenn Warren and Vernon Warren.

Survivors include a daughter, Janis (Jimmy) Rogers of Hodgenville; a son, Harold Wayne (Bobbi) Warren of Hodgenville; two sisters, Maxine French and Doneda Pepe of Arizonia; six grandchildren, Chris Rogers, Todd Rogers, Cari Self, Tiffany Snodgrass, Matthew Warren and Sara Beth Warren; and nine great-grandchildren, Shelby and Kylie Rogers, Bailey and Clay Rogers, Preston and Parker Self and Skylar, Kendall and Colton Snodgrass.

The funeral is at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Roger Pepper officiating. Burial follows in Red Hill Cemetery in LaRue County.

Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and continues after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
