Carl Midkiff Obituary

Retired Chief Warrant Officer 3 Carl Edwin Midkiff, 83, of Radcliff, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at home.

He served two tours in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot, was a member of VFW Post 10281 and was a flight simulator instructor at Fort Knox.

He is survived by his wife, Ingeborg M. Midkiff of Radcliff; three children, Carol Midkiff of Radcliff, Tammy (Tim) Grammel of Fairfax, Virginia, and Tommy (Rebecca) Midkiff of Cincinnati; five grandchildren, Shannon, Betsy, Andrew, Jessica and Haley.

Services were private. Burial with military honors was in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to VFW Post 10281, 299 Briggs Lane, Vine Grove, KY 40175
