Cliff will never be gone as long as he is remembered, only on assignment elsewhere.

Chief was one of those unique persons who experienced the same missteps and misfortunes as all of us. He,though, was comfortable in his own skin to laugh at these experiences and share them. Plus he had Pat to remind him of those instances. I remember him being my idol when I was about eleven. About every day in the summer I would hear him moving wearing his blanket quality baseball uniform and metal cleats coming down the sidewalk to the baseball park on Leitchfield road. Only just now have I wondered why he wore cleats on concrete. Rest in peace Chief. We love and miss you.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to the family of Clifford Bowen. In the early days of our marriages, my husband and I shared a duplex apartment with Cliff and Patsy. They were such a fun couple to be around and we loved them dearly. Our lives went in different directions when we moved from E'town, but have always remembered the good times we had. Sending love and prayers to the family. May the Lord comfort their family in their sorrow.

Although I didn't know Mr. Bowen, my husband Bert thought a great deal of him. Mr. Bowen always called Bert when there was a need for KU to kill current at a fire and he was always gracious to Bert. My sympathy in Mr. Bowen's death. I pray you will feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

When I was growing up, Cliff and Pat were always there to help me, laugh with me and share the most wonderful family love. Though I don't live in KY anymore, they both had remained steadfast in my heart. I love you both so much. Beverly Nell
