So sorry to belatedly learn of the passing of a superb soldier, leader, and mentor. I had the great fortune and honor to serve as his Troop Executive Officer (XO) in 1st Squadron, 2nd CAR in Bindlach Germany in the early 80s, the second of his three Troop/Company level commands. (Most Captains only get one, if that). Later met him again at Ft Bliss, TX. when he was commanding a Squadron in the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. He was a truly exceptional leader and officer. My sincerest condolences to his lovely wife and daughter. Toujours Pret! Keeping you and all yours in my thoughts and prayers until we meet at the Fiddlers Green. God Bless!

So sorry to hear of Toby's passing. I spent many a summer across the street watching what Toby and my older cousins (especially him and Keith) were up to. He was the sweetest guy, always there to help out, showing such care and concern for his siblings. My deep condolences to his wife, children and sisters.

Many memories of you as a baby along with my nephew Keith. Both were close friends throughout their childhood as our families were so connected. Now both of you have left us and I'm sure a happy reunion in heaven is going on. My sympathies to your wife, children and sisters.

It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather, we should thank God that such men lived.
Toby was a good friend and always someone you wanted to be around. I will miss his smile and friendship. May the Lord bless him and his family.
