Dorothy Spencer Obituary

Dorothy "Dot" Helen Spencer, age 90, of Mineral Bluff, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at her home.
She was born September 10, 1933, in Cleveland, Georgia, to the late John Posey Smith and Lola Cagle Smith. Dot was a member of First Baptist of Blue Ridge.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Harry Wilford Spencer, Sr., and nine siblings.
Dot is survived by her three children, Patricia Ann Bordeaux, Harry Wilford Spencer, Jr. (Susan), and Steve Russell Spencer (Suzanne); sister, Ellen Duncan; eight grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 2 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Dr. Rusty Thomas officiating. Pallbearers were Jaden Brown, Austin Townsend, Cray Spencer, Xavior Perez, David Hoffman, Grayson Lannin.
