Randy Whitener Obituary
Randall was born November 24, 1961, in Copperhill, Tennessee, to James and Betty Whitener. Randall was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as searching for arrowheads, and just being in nature. He loved his children and loved classic cars including his Ford Mustang he had owned.
Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Whitener.
He is survived by his father, James F. Whitener; sons, Brandon (Graison) Whitener and Eric (Alexandra) Whitener; daughters, Kristan (Adam) Weaver and Bailei (Vinson) Johns; brothers, James Lee (Martha) Whitener and Kelly Whitener; and grandchildren, James Benton Whitener, Lillian Whitener, Claire Whitener, and Tripp Whitener.
The family received friends at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home & Crematory Blue Ridge Chapel Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Randall Gary Whitener.
