Trudy Dunn Obituary
She was born December 12, 1949, in Blue Ridge, to the late Homer Ensley and Ruth Ensley.
She was truly an amazing and loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. Full of life and joy that she brought to all who were around her. She cherished all the small things in life and loved being outside with her flowers and hearing her wind chimes, watching her solar lights and cruising in her Dodge Charger. She never met a stranger and always tried to help anyone she could. She touched so many lives throughout her life. With a smile, a laugh and a voice no one will ever forget. She will be loved, missed and remembered always.
Until we meet again.
She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Gene Jackson Dunn.
Mrs. Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Marcy Dunn (Nathan Russell) of McCaysville; brothers, Anthony Ensley of Murphy, North Carolina, and Danny Ensley (Ethelene) of McCaysville; sisters, Carolyn Ensley of McCaysville, Judy Newton of Epworth, Katie Mashburn of Blue Ridge, Lois Woody of Blue Ridge, and Diane Pittman (Gary) of Epworth; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Graveside services were held Monday, September 25, 2023, at 1 p.m. from the Mt. Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Joey Phillips officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Billy Newton, Brandon Newton, Nathan Russell, Anthony Ensley, Matt Dillard and Brett Dillard.

Just heard about Aunt Trudy"s passing. Sending condolences and prayers to our extended family especially Marcy. She was always so much fun, the life of the party and that laugh. I will always cherish those memories. I also shared the news today with my mom(Martha Thomas) she was devastated to hear the news. Please let us know Marcy if there is anything we can do to help during this difficult time.
