Brad Cummings Obituary
Funeral services for Brad Thomas Cummings, 34, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 27, 2017, in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Rev. Bill Hearne will officiate. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in West Monroe.
Brad was born September 1, 1982 in Monroe, LA and passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 in his home in West Monroe, LA. with his loving family.
Brad is survived by his father, Gerald; mother, Karla; sister, Traci Ramirez and husband Miguel of Garland Texas; grandmother, Sarah Sones Cummings; uncles, Dale Cummings of Dallas, TX, Steve Price, Joey Price and wife Danielle, all of West Monroe, LA; aunts Lynette Price of West Monroe, Judy Cummings Carr and husband Ken of Springhill , TX, and a special cousin that helped with his care, Alexis Guyton, along with numerous other cousins.
Brad is preceded in death by his grandfather, L.F. Cummings, Jr.; grandmother, Bonnie Price Cagle, grandfather, Doyle Price and uncle, Gary Price.
Our family was blessed with the privilege to love Brad these many years. He ensured it was never boring and kept everyone on their toes. He lived a life surrounded by countless friends, family and love.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the many caregivers who have provided tireless love and support over the many years. Current care providers include: Katie Sowders, and Miss Emy Sims, who was Brad's special grandmother. We are so glad you came into his life. Thank you also to Care Solutions for providing such loving care.
Memorial donations may be made to Team Sanfilippo Foundation, P.O. Box 1152 Ronkonkoma, NY, 11779, which benefits children with the Sanfilippo genetic disorder; or MedCamps at www.medcamps.org/donate. Attending MedCamps was a highlight of Brad's childhood.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
