Cindy McPhearson Obituary
Funeral services for Cindy Marie McPhearson, 56 of West Monroe will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Bro. Randy Burdeaux and Bro. R.C. Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Cindy was born December 8, 1957 in Monroe, LA and passed away June 24, 2014 in her home in West Monroe. She graduated from Southern Mississippi with a degree in music education. Her dream was to become a music teacher and her dream was fulfilled in a different way. She home schooled her 3 children and was always supportive of her husband of 35 years as he carried out his ministry. Her faith in her Lord was unwavering and she loved her family dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Cindy is survived by husband, Rickey McPhearson; daughters; Rachel McClure and husband Mark, Abigail Tily and husband Dan and Molly McPhearson; parents; R.C. and Charlotte Smith; sisters, Melinda Hardey and husband Mitch, Sharon Drumwright; brother, Robert Smith and wife Jennifer; granddaughters Madya McClure and Mercy Tily; grandsons, Gideon Tily and James Tily-Lowe; sister-in-law Ann Harris; several nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Swancey, Mitchell Hardey, James Drumwright, Andrew Drumwright, Gary Saterfiel and Matt Saterfiel.
Memorials may be made to Adoption Fund for Cindy's granddaughter in China, Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Adoption Fund, 215 Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Road, West Monroe, LA 71292.
Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

So sorry to hear of Ciny's passing. It has been many years since we were together but I enjoyed so much Cindy and Rick when they were in our church at Richey Street Baptist Church in Pasadena, TX. God bless you and your family during this time of your loss.

I just found out recently on Facebook that Cindy must have been sick for quite some time. I am so sorry we lost touch with each other somehow. I sent a message to Cindy and Lindy but it must have not been seen. My heart is sad, but I KNOW without a doubt Cindy loved Jesus and is well and in the arms of Jesus right now while he sings over her Zeph 3:17. I will always have sweet memories of her friendship when we were teens. I love you all and may God comfort the whole family.
