Josh Brim Obituary

Capt. Josh Brim, Ret.
1955-2014
Matt Joshua Brim was born in Twin Falls, Idaho, June 28th, 1955. Josh learned to fly planes from his father on their ranch as a boy. He flew freight planes and taught flying for several years before he became a pilot for Horizon Airlines in 1994. Josh met his wife Marjorie while teaching flight school in 1981 as one of his students.
Josh loved to fly, skydive, sail, and spend time with family and friends.
Josh was a commercial airline pilot for over 25 years. He was proud to work at Horizon Airlines since 1994. He retired a few years ago as a captain flying the 400 series plane.
Josh died of Esophageal Cancer. He passed away May 18, 2014 in the arms of his wife Marjorie, his son Justin, and daughter-in-law Rebecca.
Josh was preceded in death by his brother Cotton Garrett Brim, father Cecil Pearl Brim- who is listed on the Idaho Cowboy Hall of Fame, and mother Dorothy Mae Zumwalt.
He is survived by wife Marjorie Brim, 5 stepsons, including Daniel and Joshua Kelliner that Josh helped to raise. Beloved son Justin Brim, daughter-in-law Rebecca Brim, granddaughter Bella Brim, sister Patricia Diane Brim-Williams, and multiple nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at Discovery Park, Saturday June 7, 2014 at 3 PM. All are welcome to come celebrate and remember Joshua Brim's life.
