I am so sorry to hear of this. I am from Jena originally, and remember Bob and his mom very well. He owned property next to my mother's for a long time. Bob and his family were very well thought of in Jena. Praying for your comfort at this time..

Years ago, I worked for Mr. Wagner at KPAL Radio. I had about 3 years of college under my belt and wanted to complete my degree. I'd talked with people at LSU-A about their 4 year program and found out what I needed was available but it would take a ‘very creative' schedule. I called for me to take some classes during the day and Mr. Wagner allowed me to take those classes and make up my work time after hours (as you might remember, KPAL went off the air at night in those days). I'm not sure I really ever properly thanked him for allowing me to do that. I finished my degree in four semesters and my college degree from LSU opened many doors for me. To the family, please accept my thanks on behalf of your father. And to you, I offer my thoughts, condolences and prayers for you in this very emotional time. The world has lost a good soul. The Lord has gained one.
