Ryan, Timothy George

Timothy George Ryan, 64, of Allen, Texas, born December 28, 1950 in Oshkosh, to Marshall Thomas and Ione Mary (Mortell) Ryan, passed away August 18th due to complications from recent heart surgery. Tim married Donna Fisher on August 10, 1974.

Tim graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering with an Electrical Engineering degree and received his MBA at the University of Dallas. Tim spent 35 years working for Texas Instruments and Raytheon on complex military electronic products. He specialized in the design and development of airborne radars (specifically the F-22 program), airborne processors, night vision systems and multiple military projects. Tim's dedication earned him many Technical Honor recognitions throughout his career. He was also a Senior Member of the Technical Staff. Tim retired in 2012.

Tim enjoyed cooking, following his daughter throughout her golf career, mentoring and advocating for troubled youth, and driving his Corvette. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Plano, Texas.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna Ryan, Allen, Texas; daughter, Missy Ryan, San Antonio, Texas; mother, Ione Ryan, Green Bay; brother, Steve Ryan (Kathy), Green Bay. Tim is preceded in death by his father, Marshall Thomas Ryan.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 23, 2015 in Allen, Texas.
