SPURRIER, DOROTHY E. Of Waterford; went home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2016; age 93. Beloved wife of the late Robert Spurrier. Loving mother of Joyce (Charles) Green, Jan (late Terry) Whitten, Jim (Becky) Spurrier, and Carol (Jim) Vibbart; dear grandmother of Kevin Green, Keith Green, Kimberly (Chris) Utt, Kristina (late Kyle) Self, Tina Martin, Tim Whitten, Becky (Leslie) Teddy, Sarah (David) Pew, Jason Spurrier, Matthew (Marina) Spurrier, Jason (Beth) Vibbart, Jon Vibbart and Julie Vibbart; great grandmother of 28; dear sister of Virginia (late Rev. Marcus) Krake, Bernice (Bob) Pettifor, and Burton (Beverly) Schultz. Mrs. Spurrier was a long time member of First Missionary Church of Clarkston. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 29, 2016 at 1 p.m. at First Missionary Church of Clarkston, 4832 Clintonville Road, Clarkston. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 to 8 p.m. at the RIVERSIDE CHAPEL, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford, and at the church on Friday 12 Noon until time of service.
