Ed was one of my residents here at Bloomfield On The Green. He was a nice man and very sweet. Always seen him walking on the trail. He will be missed by many.

Give Larry my condolences. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Eddie all that long but I always enjoyed his company and his humor... he'll be missed.

Thank you for being a part of my life. It was always a highlight as I was growing up to visit, as we did so often. My cousin Ed was a special part of those reunions for me. We would talk until the wee hours; most of the time was spent in laughter. Ed had a repertoire of jokes that never seemed to end. Ed and Larry improved my Latin
as I prepared to be a alter boy. Those guys knew how to memorize and remembered all the responses to this day. Adventure was high on our list: we would explore the large meadow in back of the house in Keego, and the sleepovers on the floor of vacant neighbors houses in thunderstorms with Ed, Larry, Mike and myself.

The bowling alley and being able to bowl with my older cousin. Back at Maddy Lane we would place a variety of things under Ed and Larry's microscope and gross out Ciocia Victoria and Mary. Who could forget the annual Easter Feasts with the obligatory raw egg mixed in the Easter basket that we knew would end up on someones head. The plans we all made together late at night on how our life would be, the cars we would own, the travel. Our life styles were all decided in our fantasy talk.

I decided to go to Africa and asked you guys to join me. We all went and still remember and talk about the wonders we saw, and the antics we carried with us to another continent, what fun. Hi Ollie and Joe Jambo !, and as I remember who needs hair. The Ed I love was my older cousin always making time for us, visiting
our house as he drove across country for his numerous army reserve gigs.

As we grew, and the gray hair and retirement came we kept in touch and I saw a new dimension of my cousin. Ed knew the score, he was righteous in his views of social justice and politics. I would think after our many discussions through the years as well as laughter "you know this guy has got his head screwed on right".

My friend Ed so meaningful in my life. Oh he will be missed by many. My heart goes out to Larry, Kathy and all his friends. I know we will continue to celebrate
his life. I can visualize the celebration with our grandparents, fathers, mothers and sisters, uncles and aunts and Ed. What a grand time they all are having, they are all a part of us. I am grateful that Ed and all of these loving relatives surrounded us as we went through life. Thank You. God Bless Ed.

I met Ed about 30 years ago when he was in the middle of his career as a product designer. I grew to associate him with kind behavior of the sort which refuses to dwell on an unpleasant topic, for fear he would slip and say something bad about other people. Ed was the last person to ever impose on anyone else.

As his tax preparer for many years, he was always the first one to call me each year for an early February appointment. In his better days, he usually had a trip planned which he hoped a tax refund would finance. Most recently, I heard from him in late December, 2015, when he booked his early February 2016 tax appointment, and looked forward to catching up.

An interesting person that Ed sent my way to have his own taxes prepared, was Dan Chapa, someone Ed knew from the Design Industry. Dan has had his ups and downs over the years, but as a result of Ed's introduction some years ago, Dan lives above our garage in a studio apartment today, and although we only talk about once every two weeks, Ed's name comes up periodically, and at least I am thankful for the help and good stories that we exchange today as a result, making our lives more enjoyable and complete.

I will miss Ed, and hope to see him again in his best, mid career form. Meanwhile, I will try harder to adopt his habit of not dwelling too long on unpleasant topics.
