Delores Schultz Obituary

Dolores 'Dee' Schultz Dee was born August 29, 1931 in Michigan, to Justus and Winifred Morley and took her last breath here on earth December 8, 2013 surrounded by loved ones. Dee moved with her family to Washington as a teenager and attended Olympia High School, graduating in 1950. She met Leroy 'Lee' Schultz in March of 1950; engaged in May and married in July of that same year. Dee and Lee were married 56 years until Lee preceded her in death on November 10, 2006. They left behind 5 children, Jeff (Pat) of Arizona; Rod (Vicky) of Shelton; Bryan of Arizona; Nadine White of Tumwater and Andrew of Olympia. There are 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren that will miss her very much. She is also survived by two sisters, Donna Pierce of Tumwater and Pat Greenup of Olympia; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Dee filled her time as an in home child care provider and also a professional seamstress. One thing Dee will always be remembered for was the thousands of cookies she baked over the years and it is still talked about today. In later years Dee enjoyed keeping busy making quilts, doing latch hook and creating many different items out of plastic canvas especially her grandchildren. Dee touched many lives over her 82 years here on earth and now is home in heaven with the love of her life, Lee. She will be laid to rest next to Lee at Mount Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent Washington. At Dee's request there will be no memorial service.

Schultz Family, I am really sorry for you lose. Both Dee & Lee were a part of my childhood of which I have fond memories. Cookies, sprinklers & playhouse & pictures Lee took of my family & myself. May Dee be wrapped once again in Lee's loving arms & watching over your family from heaven above. Jodi Carper
