We enjoyed sharing a hall at Chinook MS with Denny for many years. We saw the nice flowers at church this morning for Veteran's Day in his honor.

When I was in middle school, Mr. McHugo was teaching on blood types. I hated needles and knew we had to turn in parent permission slips in order to get finger poked. When the day came, I thought I was safe since I hadn't turned in my parent form. In class that day, he said, "Tom, do you have your form?" I said "No, sorry I forgot it." His response......"I taught your mother......she'd be fine with it!" I got the needle.

Mr. McHugo was one of my favorite teachers growing up. He was a wonderful person and he will be missed.
