Grant Carpenter Obituary

Grant Casey Carpenter

Grant Casey Carpenter Born April 28, 1955 in Kennewick, WA passed away peacefully on September 28, 2009 after a courageous battle with liver disease and complications from Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
He is survived by his father, Charles W. Carpenter; his mother, Mae Jean Carpenter; and brother, Mark C. Carpenter.
He attended the University of Washington and graduated cumma sum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1979. He had a passion for all sports, in particular, Husky football and basketball. He enjoyed preparing gourmet meals, listening to a wide variety of music and visiting and joking with his nephew, Cody, and niece, Morgan. He possessed a kind heart and a dry, yet keen, sense of humor that made everyone feel blessed to have crossed his path. His love of family and friends was beyond measure and he will truly be missed by all.
Family suggests donations be made to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Ctr, Seattle, WA or the UW Medical Ctr Liver Transplant Services, 1959 NE Pacific Street, Box 356175, Seattle, WA 98195, attn: Suzy Duff.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I first met Casey soon after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1978. Eventually, Lauren Bathurst, Casey and I shared office space for a short period of time prior to his move to the west side of the state. Regretfully I lost contact with Casey as the years went by.
Yes, Casey had a unique, humorous side to him that was accompanied by a distinct chuckle. Fun to be with, especially when at in town or out of town seminars. He also was very intelligent but did not beat his own drum.
Casey will be missed.
My thoughts are with his family and friends.
Sincerely
Mike Adams
