Laura Player Obituary

Laura Player Laura was received by the Lord in heaven on April 5, 2013 after an intermittent illness. Laura was born on March 29, 1950 in Tacoma, WA. She was well liked in both WA and AZ, living most of her time in the state that was to her liking climate-wise. Whatever Laura attempted to learn she became a master at. Laura earned trophies at golf and excelled in basket weaving, to the point of teaching basketry to the native american children in WA. Cooking was another one of her talents and she shared her recipes with many admirers. Laura's quilting was also remarkable. Her greatest love was her family. She leaves behind her husband Jack; her son, Todd (Brenda); and two grandsons, Anthony and Austin. Laura will be missed by many and forever in our hearts. Memorial services were held April 15, 2013 in AZ.

Laura & I have been friends since 1970 and I missed her when she went to Az. We were shocked to hear of her passing as I'm sure everyone was. We will miss her alot.

Laura and I played a lot of golf together, and always had a wonderful time. Please accept my sympathies.
